engranage

We do lots of stuff, but only what we like.

Who we are?

We are a group of friends with a passion for well done work (or WDW as we call it). We love and nurture every aspect of crafting good products as much as we love a good work environment, because they are related.

We like to consider engranage as a nowhere (or anywhere) based company. We can be where we want to be. No need to go to an office or live in one city, our headquarters is the Internet. For example, our early viability tests showed that even the beach (with all its sand and hotness) can be a great working place. It's always a matter of feeling comfortable.

How is it possible?

Decentralized work is achieved by extensive use of network workgroup technologies to keep all members of the team in touch. Email, Jabber, Mumble, Git, Trac... we use all tools available to make remote interaction as fluid as possible.

What do we do?

We always have more ideas that we can carry out, so we're always working in some new development or enhancing what we already have. The result? Take a look at our products.

Feeling envious about our lifestyle? Great, that's the idea, living well to work well.

Our network

Raquel Donaire (aka Traveler) masters order and control in a way the rest of us don't even dream about, but when it comes to computers she redefines the meaning of mess in a unique personal way. Luckily she is always surrounded by geeks to solve the situation. She has a passion for traveling and socializing and, incredibly, enjoys going out frequently (sorry don't ask me why).

Jose Chaso (aka Salesman) does his job while not playing videogames or improving photography skills. Its been said he doesn't sleeps, he just suspends to RAM 4 hours a day, until a kernel panic puts him to rest the hard way. Bored of old fashioned IT companies, tries to imbue engranage with some fresh ideas on corporate management.

Fidel Ramos (aka Ubergeek), master architect and programmer. Some geeks like computers, others love videogames, RPG, comics, manga... you name it. He digs them all and then some. "But isn't ubergeek an exaggeration?", you ask. Well, he proudly uses a terminal to move his files or listens to music in Emacs, so you be the judge. Ah, and he speaks and reads Japanese fluently. Yeah, geek, I told you so.

We do fine as we are, but we won't be full when it comes to real talent. Ever!

So if you feel good enough send us some info about you.
